Louis Mouchet is a filmmaker and video producer specializing in creative documentaries and bespoke audiovisual content.

After studying literature at the University of Geneva, he graduated from the London International Film School in 1983. He began his career with the International Committee of the Red Cross, initiating a long-standing collaboration that continues to this day.

Over the years, he has developed recognized expertise in producing impactful audiovisual content for both international and local organizations with a human-focused mission.

From 1996 to 1997, he served as editor-in-chief of CONTACT, the European Commission’s television magazine, where he directed and oversaw numerous reports across the globe.

Alongside his institutional work, Louis pursues a personal and author-driven documentary path, centered on themes of identity, memory, and the human experience. His sensitive and introspective storytelling has led to films celebrated for their emotional depth and originality.
